Imperial Beach Smoke & Market is at 1840 Coronado Ave E in San Diego, about 8 miles south of downtown National City. Take I-5 south, exit at Coronado Avenue, and we're a few blocks from the off-ramp, about half a mile from the South Bay Drive-In. Outside rush hour the drive is roughly 12 to 15 minutes. Coming from the Plaza Bonita side, SR-54 west to I-5 south is the quickest route. There's free parking right in front of the store. Drive times are estimates; check live directions before you head over.

One freeway, no guesswork
From anywhere near National City Boulevard, the Mile of Cars or the 8th Street area, get on I-5 south and stay on it through Chula Vista. Exit at Coronado Avenue (Exit 4) and you're there. Most of the drive is freeway, which is why it takes about the same time as a trip across town.
Coming from the Westfield Plaza Bonita side or Lincoln Acres, you can also pick up I-805 south; Google Maps will tell you which one is moving better that evening.
By trolley from National City
The Blue Line stops at 8th Street and 24th Street in National City and runs south to the Palm Avenue station. From Palm Avenue, MTS bus Route 227 brings you close to the shop. It's a good option if you'd rather not drive late at night.
